Kidnapped Jhapa man rescued after 10 days

The young man, who left his house in Birtmod, Jhapa for Ilam but got kidnapped on the way, has been rescued after 10 days. Rajiv Basnet, 21, was kidnapped on January 19 when he left his house to visit Shree Antu in Ilam with his friends. He was abducted soon after he left his house.

Dhankuta stampede: 30 sustain injuries

A total of 30 persons got injured in a stampede at Dhankuta stadium occurred last evening. Of them, 18 persons are receiving treatment in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Laxmi Raj Adhikari. It is stated that two children have been referred to Golden Hospital in Biratnagar from BPKIHS.
