Kalinga Literary Festivals from Oct. 15

BY TRN OnlineKathmandu, Aug 18: The first international edition of Kalinga Sahitya Mahotsav (Literary Festivals) a prestigious literary institution in India is going to be held in Kathmandu on October 15-16. 

According to the Chairperson of Rastrika Sahitya Pratisthan Rhishav Dev Ghimire, the festivals will be held in joint collaboration with Rastrika Sahitya Pratisthan and Nepal's online magazine Himalayan Diary.

Prominent literates, cultural experts, authors and thinkers from Nepal and India will gather to participate in Mahotsav.  

Chairperson of Rastrika Sahitya Pratisthan Ghimire has said that more than 100 prominent personalities, including the former ambassador of India to Nepal Ranjit Roy, will take part in the festival. 

Similarly, protuberant literati person Satya Mohan Joshi, Vice-chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan Dr, Jaga Man Gurung will gather to participate in the festival.   

The main topic of discussion and debate will be 'Art, Culture and Literature of Nepal' at the festivals.  

The festivals are expected to further strengthen the literary, cultural, art and socio-religious activities between Nepal and India and provide more support in expanding the relationship between the authors and literati persons of both countries.
