Beautifaction works at Kulpani Green Park attract tourists (Photo Feature)

By Diwakar Pokhrel, Deukhuri, Sept. 2: The Kulpani Green Park located at Badahara in Gadhawa Rural Municipality-1, Dang has become an attractive destination for tourists now.

The sculptures of tiger, deer, and peacock made recently at the entrance have added beauty to the green park. And, the under-construction wooden view tower is the most attractive place of all. 

Likewise, temples, green lands, and lakes are currently built in the Kulpani Green Park located at the Kulpani Community forest. There has been a flock of tourists daily of late and the view tower gives a lovely scene of the nearby surrounding. 


Babu Ram Adhikari, ward chair of Gadhawa Rural Municipality-1, said that Kulpani Green Park is being developed as a suitable destination for locals during holidays and domestic tourists are visiting the place for a view from under construction view tower. 

The park was built with an investment of Rs 2.5 million from ward 1 of · Gadhawa Rural Municipality. The internal source from community forest consumer groups has been utilized along with the private contributions. 

The increasing flow of internal tourists, which was paused amid the COVID-19 pandemic, is increasing business as well. 

Ward Chair, Adhikari said that around 200 internal tourists visit the park daily and during holidays the number of tourists rises further. 

People can visit the park free of cost.
