Seven injured in Okhaldhunga jeep accident

By Sher Bahadur Rai, Okhaldhunga, Feb. 1: Seven people have been injured when a jeep collided against road wall at Hilepani of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-7 along Siddhicharan Highway.

Sukdev Khanal, Chief of Okhaldhunga district police office and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), informed that condition of the three among the seven injured was critical, and that the injured were under treatment at a health center at Ghurmi in Udayapur.

The jeep with registration no. Pra 1-01-007 was heading to Dharan from Okhaldhunga.

There were 14 passengers in the jeep.

It is said that the jeep met with an accident as it went out of control in the downhill road with many bends.

Causes of accident are being studied, according to the police.
