KMC instructs to remove illegal structures within a week

Kathmandu, March 25: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has directed all stakeholders to remove the illegally built structures along the river bank in the Kathmandu district within seven days.     

Issuing a notice here today, the KMC asked all those encroaching the public places such as river banks and river corridors and owning properties built illegally.     

The Metropolis warned that it will forcefully demolish such structures if the concerned ones do not remove the illegally constructed structures themselves within the stipulated timeline.     

Furthermore, the KMC has notified them that all expenses incurred during the removal shall be borne by the concerned side. (RSS)
