One of the prominent philosophers of the modern-day history Acharaya Rajnish, who is well-known as Osho, has said that the majority of people carry out their day-today duties in their lifetime without being aware what they are doing. He argues that people eat, walk, sleep, wake up, attend office, get married and beget children. But they may not be aware of what they are doing.

Osho says that this is not correct. They should wake up to their thinking and know what they are doing. It is because they are like somnambulant. His view is that an aware person does not commit any crime. He also opines that only conscious people enjoy while doing things. He, therefore, urges one and all to be aware of what they are doing to remain happy and healthy in life.

When we look at the people walking along the streets even without looking across other side of the pavement, the assumption of Rajnish seems to be right. They appear to be walking straight without going into the other side of the road. Observing such people, it can be said that they might not have looked at even the house of their neighbour and in the sky since so long.

Most pedestrians walk along the pavements without noticing their surroundings. They just seem to be a flock of sheep. Some of them walk lethargically. Their walking style shows how much one is prominent, confident or dull. If we do not look at a blooming peach at the west-south corner of Tundikhel in Kathmandu in this beautiful spring season and enjoy it, we ignore its beauty. Spring is regarded as the king of all seasons. Only aware and meditative people can fully experience the magnificence of this season.

It needs no mention that the spring season begins in March and ends in May in this part of the planet. This is the best season for people to observe floral and faunal species. The season demands adequate patience and good judgment from those exploring flora and fauna. Without having patience to look at plants, animals and places, we may not enjoy the beauty of the vernal season. This is because the spring season possesses some common characteristics of both winter and summer. It means that we can enjoy the warmth of the sun in the day time and moderate cold in the night time.

Additionally, the rain and sunshine patterns are predicable in this season. Therefore, the majority of youths and others with good health and stamina prefer going for hiking, visiting new places and organising picnics.

Many people are found taking part in picnics and other outings during this season. Everybody wants to visit new places to enjoy the scenic beauty. However, some people cannot afford to go for a picnic due to a financial problem. Attending picnics and other moderate gatherings in quiet places can help people remain fresh. This is why a large number of people want to visit places away from the hustles and bustles of urban life on the weekend.
