PM Prachanda holding 'important' bilateral talks today

New Delhi, June 1 :  Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who is in India on his official visit, is scheduled to hold 'important' bilateral meetings today.    


Today morning, the PM is slated to reach the Samadhi (cremation ground) of Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat, and lay a wreath at the memorial. Shortly, he will hold a meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House. PM Dahal will address a joint press conference organised following the meeting.


The meeting will also be followed by a delegation-level talks focusing on mutual interests between the two countries. Other issues to be discussed are energy, electricity trade, commerce and air entry routes, and necessary agreements will take place, it has been said.    


He will attend a luncheon hosted today in his honour by the Prime Minister of India. The PM is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.


He will address the Nepal-India Business Summit in New Delhi co-organised by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of India Industry today evening, and interact with business leaders of both the countries.    


The PM is scheduled to visit Indore, and meet with Governor of Madhya Pradesh Mangubhai C. Patel. He is scheduled to return home on June 3 at 4:20 pm. (RSS)
