By TRN Online, Pyuthan, Dec 4: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has said that the nation's transformation is only possible from the leadership of the CPN (Maoist Center).
Addressing a Special Transformation Campaign of the CPN (Maoist Center) organised today at Sarumarani Rural Municipality - 2, Pyuthan, Minister Sharma claimed that as the Maoist party rose from the great campaign for the nation's prosperity and people's life change, the nation's transformation will only be possible from the Maoist leadership.
She said that the incumbent government led by the Maoist has taken good
governance, prosperity and social justice as the guideline and that its results
have started to come now.
Delivery of textbooks to students in time, easing of the supply of
fertilisers, and service delivery spots becoming queue-free were some of the signs
of improvement which have raised hope in the people, she said, adding, a new
message has been spread due to strong stance of the government on big
corruption cases such as gold smuggling, fake Bhutanese refugee.
Referring to the shattering of the network of loan sharks, among other remnants
of feudalism, Minister Sharma said such steps urged all to keep people informed
about this.
Minister Sharma, also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPN (Maoist
Center), also pointed out the need for all the Maoist parties to come together
for the service to the people. "Change-loving forces should come together,
there is no option."
She viewed politics should be established as a service, not a profession.
People are angry because of the working style of the Maoist leaders and
cadres, not because of the agenda upheld and institutionalized by the party, including the republican system, federalism, secularism, and inclusivity.
She urged
her party activists to work honestly to address the demands of the people,
and if any failure in this regard, inform the people truly about the causes of
failure.
