Nepal 'A' defeats Ireland 'A' in ODI opener

Kathmandu, April 3: Nepal 'A' defeated Ireland 'A' in the opening match of the ODI today.  Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Ireland 'A' scored 157 runs in 38.3 overs losing all wickets. 

Cade Carmichael of Ireland 'A' made 51 runs off 77 balls while captain Neil Rock had 39 runs in 32 balls. Similarly, Ireland A's Peter Moor gathered 21 runs, and James McCollum and Stephen Doheny 12 runs each.  

Ireland 'A' made only 15 runs in the last five overs losing six wickets. 

For Nepal 'A', Kamal Airee took four wickets with a hat-trick while Shahab Alam and Mousom Dhakal two wickets each, and Rijan Dhakal one wicket. (RSS)
