Proposal of vote of thanks passed from NA

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 21: The National Assembly has passed the proposal of vote of thanks to President Ramchandra Paudel for his address to the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament held on May 14 amid the protest from the opposition. 

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ tabled a copy of the  President's address to a joint meeting of the federal parliament to the House of Representatives (HoR) assembly. 

Chairperson of the National Assembly Narayan Prasad Dahal said that the meeting of the National Assembly has decided to pass the motion of thanks to President Paudel's address to a joint meeting of the federal parliament amid the protest from the opposition. 

The next meeting of NA is scheduled for May 24 at 1:15 PM.
