Pakari-Dalwabagh road left starnded after contractor ran away

By Devram Prasad Yadav, Saptari, July 14 The Pakari-Dalwabagh road has been left stranded after the contractor absconded. The Madhesh Province gave the contract to Raman-ISNBJV Janakpurdham, Dhanusha and the contract was signed on March 21, 2022. 

The contract was signed to complete it by March 21, 2024, with the investment worth Rs 312 million (besides Value added Tax (VAT). 

The local Dipak Yadav said that the work moving in limbo for two months, and now the contractor is at large compelling locals to commute on muddy roads amid the rainy season. 

he said that the ambulance also could not pass through due to the muddy roads, leaving the locals to carry the ill patients to the postal highway. 

 The contract was signed to cement concrete roads and on the other side to pitch roads.
