Aktor’s shooting over

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 18: The shooting of the much-talked-about movie ‘Aktor,’, has been completed. 

The shooting that began at the end of the Nepali month of Baisakh by organising an auspicious ceremony at the Bindhyabasini Temple in Pokhara, concluded in 45 days.

Producer Thaman Kumar Bhandari informed that after shooting for 10 days in Pokhara, an additional 35 days of shooting were completed in Kathmandu, with only one song left to be shot.  Bhandari said, “We are considering shooting the remaining song in Europe.”

 The film unit plans to release teasers, trailers, and first looks of the film in the next three months.

Directed by Rajan Bhusal in his debut, the film features Pradeep Khadka, Dibya Rayamajhi, Raj Ballav Koirala, Anna Sharma, Sushil Sitaula, Divya Dev, Usha Rajak and Pradeep Chaudhary.

 This is Divya’s first film, and Raj Ballav Koirala returns to the screen after nearly 10 years.  Khadka collaborates with Divya and Anna for the first time.

Produced by Moti Films and presented by Adrit Films, the film has been financed by Thaman Kumar Bhandari, with Anish Bhusal as the co-producer and Moti Karki as the creative producer. 

Narendra Mainali handles the cinematography.

‘Aktor’ is set to be released in Tihar this year, coinciding with Laxmi Puja.

 The Japanese screening rights of the film have also been sold, with Khem Raj Shah’s Max Entertainment acquiring the rights for Japan.
