Eight held with brown sugar from Koteshwar

Kathmandu, Aug 15: Police have arrested eight people along with brown sugar from Koteshwar of Kathmandu.    

Police noticed their dubious activities and approached them for checking, which led to the confiscation of narcotic drugs weighing 33.76 grams from them.    

Those arrested are Rafis Awale, 27, from Lalitpur; Risaf Shrestha, 19, from Namobuddha of Kavrepalanchwok; Reman Rai, 21, of Kanepokhari of Morang; Amit Kumar Chaudhary, 33, and Pramod Rai, 36, from Belbari, Morang; and Meharman Bhujel, 28, of Miklajung, Timpal Tamang, 27, of Phidim and Bhim Kumar Chemjong, 29, of Phalgunanda of Panchthar.   

 
Police also confiscated another sort of narcotics, one motorcycle, a scooter, cash of Rs 55,000, 14 mobile phone sets, one ipad, and a digital weighing machine from them. (RSS)
