By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept 19: Government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has termed the constitution as the best and mot important document so far and that there is no option to implementing it in words and spirit and address the emerging problems.
In an interview with the Gorkhapatra, Minister Gurung viewed federalism was introduced to take development to people’s door-stpes and make Nepal economically strong and in good form.
He said nation’s prosperity was not far away.
In response to the query about complaints that federal system has not been effective even after nine years of the new constitution, the government spokesperson said weak points of the document needed refinement or amendment.
The Minister said political stability was established with the two major parties, the largest and the second largest, Nepali Congress and CPN (UML), forming the coalition government and that the government was now focused on development.
