By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 20: Scotland defeated Nepal by one wicket in the ongoing Under-19 Women's World Cup match at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi, Malaysia on Monday.
Batting First, Nepal had given a target of 74 runs in the first inning which Scotland achieved in the 18.4 overs losing 9 wickets.
To make their country win Scotland's Pippa Sproul scored 35 runs and Gabriella Fontenla hit 12 runs, but other batsmen weren't able to score runs in double digits.
Nepal's Rachana Chaudhary and Seemana KC took two wickets each whereas Puja Mahato and Krishma Gurung took a single wicket each.
