Co-driver dies in Tanahun tractor accident
By Amarraj Naharki, Tanahun, Mar.18: A tractor co-driver died in a tractor accident on a dirt road in Otangdi, Myagde Rural Municipality-6, Tanahun district on Monday evening.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Tanahun, said that 30-year-old Suk Bahadur BK of Jamune Myagde -2 of Tanahun, died in the accident.
Thapa said that BK died on the spot when the tractor (Ga 1 Ta 5689) lost control and overturned on the road.
A tractor driver Prakash Kumar Shrestha has been taken into custody and an investigation is underway.
