Kathmandu, Apr.23: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has condemned the terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Foreign Minister Rana said that she is deeply saddened and stunned by the brutal attack.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time, and we wish a swift and full recovery to those who have been injured", she wrote.
Nepal stands in steadfast solidarity with the Government and people of India in this time of sorrow, the Minister noted.
Minister Rana also said that an investigation is underway into the matter in line with news about being a Nepali national victim in the brutal terrorist attack. Further details will be provided after receiving the detailed report.
According to an Indian media outlet, 26 people, including one Nepali, were killed and 10 others were injured in the attack that took place on Tuesday afternoon.
