Nepathya wraps up its US tour

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 17: Nepathya, a folklore band, completed a month-long musical tour in the US on Saturday.

 According to a press release issued by Nepalaya, the band gave its final performance in North Carolina, featuring songs like Yo Jindagani, Resham, and many more.

Singer Mohan Bhusal, one among the audience, clapping and dancing, said, “As a musician, I learned a lot from this event. It was a wonderful blend of music, entertainment, harmony, and meaningful messages. I felt it was of international standard. It elevated the quality of Nepali concerts.”

Bikram Shrestha, one of the organisers who brought Nepathya to this US state for the first time, expressed his happiness over the success of Saturday’s grand concert.  “This was our first major Nepali event done entirely through online booking,” he said.

This year’s month-long musical journey took the band from Austin, Seattle, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Boston, finally concluding in Greensboro. 

The 14-member team of artists, managers, and technicians will return to Nepal later this week.
