Home Minister Aryal directs to ensure security situation in NPL

Kathmandu, Nov 16: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal on Sunday took stock of the security provisions and the final preparations for the Second Edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL), which is beginning on Monday. 

Minister Aryal and Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Ishwar Raj Paudel took information from the Chief of Kathmandu Police Ramesh Thapa about the security systems arranged for the NPL.

According to the Home Minister's Secretariat, Aryal instructed the officials to intensify security alertness to avoid any sort of untoward incidents and maintain the prompt security situation during the NPL.

"As the cricket matches are being played in the nighttime, I direct (the security agencies) to make arrangements accordingly for the robust security situation," Minister Aryal said during the meeting. (RSS)
