By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 17: The monthly poetry recitation and interactive session organised by the Progressive Writers' Association (PWA) Kavre featured poet and short story writer Bishwa Sigdel, a resident of Banepa, as the special author this month.

At the event held in Banepa on Saturday, Sigdel presented four of his favourite poems. His works offered sharp socio-political critique by exposing systemic exploitation and inequality while advocating for ecological consciousness and non-interference with nature.

"Kavre’s writers are achieving new heights of creativity through their progressive expressions," he remarked.

Shrinkhala expressed confidence that such literary programmes provide energy, inspiration, and discipline to creators.

"The works of Sigdel, born in the soil of Kavre, would secure a special place in contemporary Nepali literature," he claimed.

At the event chaired by PWA Kavre chairman Kanchhaman Lama ‘Raktim’, many poets, including Rami Priya, Chandra Bahadur Lama, Keshav Raj Paudel, Sanjay Suman, DP Atreya, Balaram Bista, Saugat Ghimire, Shashi Shree Acharya, Hari Prasad Chaulagain, Ram Sundar Deuja, Keshav Ghimire, Susila Bista, Shri Krishna Pandey,
