Passenger onboard in bus dies in Saptari

By Binay Karn, Saptari, Jan 16: One board in the passenger bus died in the Kanchanpur area of Saptari district. 

Mahesh Mukhiya, aged 55, of Diman, Tirhut Rural Municipality-4, who was travelling in a passenger bus (Lu 2 Kha 3485) heading from Bhairahawa to Biratnagar, died on the way.

He had been ill for the past 3-4 days and died on Thursday in a bus while his wife, 45-year-old Dukhani Mukhiya, was taking him home, according to the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur, Madhav Prasad Kafle.

He said that after the bus driver informed the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur, on Friday morning, no suspicious circumstances were found in the incident during the initial investigation.

Body has been handed over to brother Umesh Mukhiya.
