Political commitment needs to be materialized for development: President Paudel

By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahun, April 15: President Ramchandra Paudel has said that it is mandatory to materialize the commitment of political parties and government for good governance, development and job opportunities, as per the aspirations of denizens. 

Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the National Heritage Day at Tanahunsur, Tanahun, on Monday, President Paudel said that the constitution that Nepali got from the Constituent Assembly with the success of political change, and the spirit of the federal democratic republic that we have chosen is peaceful happy and prosperous Nepal. 

President Paudel said, “The first condition for this is good governance and a public welfare government that is accountable to people. It is mandatory to materialize the commitment of political parties and government for the good governance, development and job opportunities, as per the aspirations of denizens.” 

He stressed that the pillars of development are agriculture, tourism, industry and water resources. 

He said, “Tanahun in itself is a natural pillar. It carries strategic and historical importance, the whole of Nepal is based and connected in such strategy, and the geographical location has saved the country as well.”
