Good governance possible only through successful implementation of law: PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 16: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that good governance can be guaranteed only after the successful implementation of law. 

Addressing the “Challenges of good governance, and upcoming work plan of the government”,  organized by the Institute for Strategic and Socio-Economic Research (ISSR) on Tuesday, PM Prachanda stressed implementing laws for leading a country on a way towards good governance and prosperity. 


Mentioning that the control of corruption is mandatory for the overall development of the nation, the people’s interest and good governance, the PM said that righteousness is guaranteed by making the agencies dealing with corruption control equipped with laws, manpower, resources and means. 

PM Prachanda said, “The government is committed to taking action against those who any point in time were involved in corruption and any corruption scandal, by investigating issues related to corruption. The main priority of the incumbent government is good governance, social justice and prosperity., among them, the issue of marinating the good governance is at the forefront, and the   implementation process is moving forward accordingly.”
