Country still experiencing partial influence of westerly and local wind

Kathmandu, April 20: The country is now experiencing partial influence of westerly wind and local wind, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.     

The weather is now partly cloudy at hilly region of the country and mainly fair in rest of the country. Partial cloudy weather has been forecast at hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province and mainly fair in remaining places this afternoon.     

There is a possibility of light rainfall along with thunder and lightning at one or two places of hilly regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.     

Likewise, there is a chance of rainfall and snowfall at one or two places of high-hilly and mountainous region of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province, according to the Division.     

This afternoon, there is also possibility of storm at some places of Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province and some places of Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province in the evening. The Division has requested to adopt precautions as daily life as well as agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road and air services in that areas is likely to be partially affected.     

Tonight, partly cloudy weather has been predicted at hilly regions of Koshi Province and Gandaki province while fair weather at the rest of the country. There is a chance of light snowfall at one or two places of high-hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province as well as light rainfall along with thunder and lightning at one or two places of hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province.
