PM Prachanda extends best wishes on CPN establishment day

Kathmandu, April 22: Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has extended best wishes on the occasion of the 154th birth anniversary of veteran socialist leader Vladimir I. Lenin and the 75th establishment years of the Communist Party of Nepal on Monday. 

In a message delivered on Monday, PM Prachanda extended best wishes to all communists, revolutionaries, leftists, progressive and patriotic forces and the people at large at home and abroad on the occasion.

He paid deep tributes to the martyrs on the occasion and wished speedy recovery and long life to the injured with high respect to the disappeared warriors, the message reads. 

Recalling that the CPN was founded 75 years ago in 2006 BS on the occasion of Lenin's birth anniversary, PM Prachanda said the communist movement of Nepal had reflected the direction of socialism by establishing a federal democratic republic with the experience of class struggle and inter-struggle and various ups and downs of the movement. 

The PM made it clear that the communist movement has formed the basis of the socialist revolution by fulfilling the basic task of the democratic revolution with Nepali uniqueness and originality. 

"On the one hand, it will guide us to achieve the goal of socialism by bringing changes in the lives of the people in line with the changed political system, and on the other hand, it will make the shared dream and build the same communist centre through power equations, cooperation and collaboration," he said.
