Narayangadh (Chitwan), April 26:
Kalika municipality has launched a free driving training to make single, Dalit
and underprivileged women self-reliant.
The municipality has conducted the
training under the Women and Children Programme, it is shared.
On the occasion, Kalika
municipality's mayor Binod Regmi said the training would help women become
entrepreneur and self-employed wherever they go at home and abroad.
"People with skills do not have any problem at work", he added.
Chief Administrative Officer of
Kalika, Chudamani Gautam, informed that a 15-day free light four-wheeler driver
training has been organized for 70 women of the municipality from Thursday on
the premises of Shahid Smriti Campus at Kalika-4m Padampur.
He said that the training was
conducted with the aim of motivating the disadvantaged section of society to
become professional driver. (RSS)
