DPM Yadav off to US

Kathmandu, April 27: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadav has left here for the United States of America (USA) this evening.     

As a representative of the government, Minister Yadav will take part in the fifty-seventh session of the Commission on Population and Development to be held in New York from April 29 to May 3.     

Minister Yadav is scheduled to return home on May 7.     

Meanwhile, the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal's publicity department chief, Purna Basnet, told the RSS that JSP Chairman Yadav has assigned party central executive committee member Rajendra Prasad Shrestha as the Acting Chairman of JSP, Nepal. (RSS)
