By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 26: Minister for Communication
and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has viewed that the expression of
dissatisfaction with the Bill (third amendment) on Truth and Reconciliation
Commission (TRC) and enforced disappearance is tantamount to expression against
the peace process.
To argue against the TRC Bill tabled today runs
counter to peace process, said Minister Sharma talking to journalists at the
Federal Parliament building.
She observed that those who do not like peace
process and those who have been rejecting it have protested the Bill. She termed the Bill as common issue of those who signed the peace accord and also of those which are in the parliament.
"Peace process is the matter of the citizens
and the political parties alike".
She, however, said maximum efforts will be made to
forge consensus on the Bill among the political parties in the parliament.
