Kathmandu, April 26 : Non-resident Ambassador to Turkiye Tapas Adhikari presented his letters of credence to President of Türkiye, Tayyip Erdoğan.
Adhikari presented his Letters of
Credence to the President of Turkiye amidst a special ceremony held at the
President Palace in Ankara on Thursday, the Islamabad-based Nepali Embassy
said.
Adhikari is the resident Ambassador
of Nepal to Pakistan.
During the programme, Ambassador
Adhikari conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of President Ramchandra
Paudel, and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ as well as from the
people of Nepal for the personal health and happiness of the President of
Türkiye and for the continued progress and prosperity of friendly people of
Türkiye.
The President of Türkiye welcomed
and congratulated Adhikari as Ambassador of Nepal to Türkiye. The President
asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to the President,
Prime Minister and people of Nepal for their continued progress and
prosperity.
Ambassador Adhikari expressed that
the bilateral relationship between Nepal and Türkiye are based on mutual trust
and cooperation, and have always been friendly.
He further said that Nepal and
Türkiye are working together in the United Nations and other important
international forums on various issues of common interests.
Ambassador Adhikari also said that
he would continue to make sincere efforts to further enhance bilateral
relations between the two countries, stated a press release issued by he
Embassy, today.
