Five killed, three injured in Achham tractor accident

By Shivraj Dhungana, Achham, Mar 25: Five people were killed while three others got injured when a tractor heading towards Sanphebagar from Shodshadevi, Mellekh Rural Municipality met with an accident at Suyad, Mellekh Rural Municipality on Monday morning.

The deceased have been identified as 55-year-old Ranga Dhami, 45-year-old Prem Dhami, 37-year-old Nara Bahadur Dhami, 15-year-old Janak Dhami and 21 year Janak Dhami from Rishidaha, Mellekh Rural Municipality-1, Achham. 

The injured have been identified as 42-year-old Lal Bahadur Dhami, 40-year-old Hansa Dhami of Rishidaha, Mellekh Rural Municipality-1, whereas the identity of the minor is yet to be ascertained. 

Police Inspector Arjun Saud of the District Police Office, Achham, said that the injured have been taken to Bayalpata Hospital of the district for treatment 

According to him, the reason behind the accident of a tractor with a registration number (Sudurpaschim Province 01 002 Ta 4979) is yet to be ascertained.
