UML's National Convention Representatives Council meeting today

Kathmandu, April 20: The first meeting of the National Convention Representatives Council of the CPN (UML) is taking place in Lalitpur today.     

A total of 2,454 general convention representatives would participate in the two-day meeting. Party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli would chair the council meeting where Chair Oli would present political report while General-Secretary Shankar Pokharel organizational report.     

Similarly, the Central Disciplinary Commission, Central Accounts Commission, Central Election Commission and Central Advisory Council would also present their reports in the meeting, said Chief of UML Publicity Department, Rajendra Gautam.     

A detailed action plan will be presented to launch 'Year 2081' as the campaign of party purification and strengthening. Participants in the meeting would provide suggestions on the presented reports and action plan.     

Gautam expressed the belief that the council meeting would guide the UML in order to establish it as a strong and decisive national force to ensure political stability, sustainable peace, good governance and prosperity as per the country's need and people's aspiration. (RSS)
