Ruling parties holding meeting on power sharing

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 26: The ruling coalition is holding a meeting this evening to sort out issues related to power sharing in the government.

"Leaders will finalise which partners in the ruling coalition will get which ministries," said Dev Gurung, general secretary of the CPN (Maoist Center0, the main ruling party.

Keshav Jha, a leader of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, said that the meeting will dwell on sharing of ministries among the ruling parties and also on by-election in Bara-2.

The Maoist Center on Saturday had decided that the party would make efforts to conclude power sharing among ruling parties by Monday.

Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi party, Lokatantrik Samajwadi Party, Nagarik Unamukti Party, Janamat Party and Rastriya Swatantra Party are in the ruling coalition in addition to the CPN (Maoist Center).
